The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Auxiliary awarded ten $1,000 scholarships to local students planning to pursue an education in the healthcare field.
Three additional $1,000 awards—the J. Alfred Fabro, MD Memorial Scholarship, the Joseph Curi, M.D. Memorial Scholarship, and the Dr. Beth Whalen and Dr. Terrance Ryan Scholarship—were also presented. Each of the 13 recipients are residents of communities served by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.
“Each year, the Auxiliary distributes our scholarships to strengthen the future of healthcare and support local students who want to make a difference in the world,” shared Rosalie Strano, President of the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Auxiliary. “We are so pleased to present our awards to such a deserving group of young people and we wish them the best of luck as they begin an exciting new chapter.”
