Driving for H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Pay Expenses) Golf Tournament

The Hayes Family was inspired to start a golf tournament after John Hayes was diagnosed with kidney cancer and started treatment at the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at Hartford Hospital. After feeling some blessings coming their way, the Hayes Family wanted to do something to pay it forward and help cancer patients and their families who are struggling financially due to cost of treatment. With proceeds from the annual Driving for H.O.P.E. Golf Tournament, the John Hayes Fund for H.O.P.E. helps provide gift cards to grocery stores or restaurants for a family meal, or to assist with copays.
