Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is grateful to Victoria and Sean Maguire for hosting the 2024 J. McLaughlin Pink Fundraiser to benefit the hospital’s Pink Rose Fund. The community fundraiser took place at the Litchfield Store on October 6, 2024, and was heavily supported by members of the Forman School community—where both Victoria and Sean are employed.

The Litchfield Store donated 15% of all sales to the Pink Rose Fund, which provides support for educational outreach and screenings to assure that the women of northwest Connecticut have comprehensive, coordinated access to breast cancer services, programs, and treatments. In addition to the Litchfield Store’s generous donation, Store Manager Troy Brown raised awareness about breast cancer and celebrated the Pink Rose Fund’s impact on the local community by serving shoppers with pink cupcakes and festive beverages.

“Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is so thankful to the Maguires, the Litchfield Store, Troy Brown, and the Forman School community for their vibrant support of the hospital’s Pink Rose Fund and the patients and families who rely on our services,” said Debbie Bender, Director of Philanthropy. “Our hospital has always been a community hospital—and it is always so special to see our friends and neighbors come together to support our compassionate care, outreach, and patient assistance programs through fundraisers such as this.”
