Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is grateful to our friends from Gengras Subaru Torrington and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS), who teamed up to deliver 80 blankets and messages of hope to patients undergoing treatment at The Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.

“It is our pleasure to support Charlotte Hungerford Hospital’s incredible work and provide an extra layer of comfort to our fellow community members in the fight against cancer through our ‘Subaru Loves to Care’ campaign,” said Andrew Maiolo of Gengras Subaru Torrington—who also serves as a Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Corporator.

“As a proud Corporator of the hospital, I can personally attest to the quality of care and high level of expertise and compassion provided by its caregivers—and we are very thankful for their service and commitment to our region,” Maiolo continued.

“Charlotte Hungerford is fortunate to benefit from strong community support within the northwest region and we are so appreciative of Gengras Subaru Torrington’s generosity,” said Debbie Bender, Senior Philanthropy Officer, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. “There are so many different ways to support our mission and patients—and this is yet another great example of a community partner providing hope and comfort to those in our care.”
