Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is grateful to Northwest Community Bank for its generous $25,000 gift in support of the hospital’s Rural Residency Program.

The Rural Physician Residency Program is designed to bridge the healthcare needs of our local community with the development of future family medicine and psychiatry professionals in northwest Connecticut. By providing comprehensive educational and training experiences focused on rural healthcare dynamics, we can recruit and retain qualified doctors who can address the needs and challenges of communities that rely on Charlotte Hungerford Hospital’s care and proximity to home.
