Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is grateful to announce that Bill Zampaglione, VP of Real Estate for PAC Group, will serve as Honorary Golf Chair for the 24th annual Golf Classic on Monday, June 1, 2026, at The Torrington Country Club. PAC Group will again generously serve as the golf fundraiser’s Title Sponsor.
This will mark the fourth consecutive year Zampaglione has served in this role. Under his leadership, the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Golf Classic has raised over $700,000 for several hospital beneficiaries since 2023.
In addition to his and PAC Group’s continued support of the Golf Classic, Zampaglione serves as a Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Corporator, and he and his wife, Tina Zampaglione, are distinguished members of the hospital’s 1916 Society. To honor his outstanding ambassadorship and philanthropic contributions, the hospital recognized Bill as its inaugural Corporator of the Year in 2024.
In 2025, the Prenoveau Family and PAC Group announced a generous $1 million gift to establish the John J. Capobianco Medical Education and Care Center at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital—the future home of the hospital’s Rural Residency Program.
The 2026 Golf Classic will raise funds for the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.
